The eight-part docuseries The Last Alaskans follows the few who have painstakingly made it their life's mission to adapt to the perilous terrains of the 19 million acre Arctic Wildlife Refuge. Surviving 400 miles from civilization boils down to one thing, finding food, and as winter nears the families must search for the one animal large enough to feed a family through winter.
