National Geographic wanted to create a 3 part virtual reality series taking viewers inside the first-person accounts of the real soldiers portrayed in their scripted global miniseries The Long Road Home. 

Featured here is the multi-award winning episode 2 directed by Max Salomon, "The Moment that Broke His Memory." In this episode, we step inside the mind of SGT Carl Wild in virtual reality as he dives deep inside his broken memories of Black Sunday in the search for answers.
